Can I stop the warning I get when trying to start another program.

I am creating a Powerpoint 2003 presentation which I want to use to open
programs that I am talking about in the presentation. Each time I click on
the Action Setting/Hyperlink I have embedded on the slide, I am given a
warning about programs contraining viruses and do I really want to run this
program. This is not beneficial to what I am trying to do with the
presentation. Is there any way to stop this message from appearing?
