You can only use Word as an email editor in a MAPI-compliant email program
(such as Outlook or Outlook Express). As far as I know, none of the webmail
interfaces are MAPI-compliant. But if you can configure Outlook or OE to
read your SBCYahoo email, then you can use Word as your email editor in
Outlook or OE.
