can not open attachments in Entourage

hello,

work in a big componey many of the employees got the problem when they try
to open a .doc or a .docx file that whas made in mac word 2004 or mac word 2008. they get the error

:could not open the attachment.
permission to access this file was denied. this couldt be caused by the file being open in another application.

have checked the premmision in the temp map and got full premission. i nothis when i try more times then 1. i can op the doc.

the file size is 26k.

hope some one got a solution.

What happens when they save the documents to the local disk first before
opening them?

when they save the document to there local disk it works fine but my employee dont want to work that way they say when i click open i want it to open so i've there is a solution.

hope you know something that would help

Is this affecting just 1 particular Word file or every Word file that they
receive? Did they create the Word files themselves or was it from an
external source? What happens when they create a Word file themselves on
Word 2008 and send it as an attachment to themselves (or to each other)
using Entourage 2008...can they open the file properly?

I have the new Microsoft 2008 for MAC Book and I couldn't open any
attachment with Entourage (word, Excel, pdf, etc...) I have just
called microsoft for them to help me and here is the tip, close
Entourage
1./ go on your hard drive
2./ click on library
3./ click on preferences
4./ click on microsoft (blue document)
5./ click on your home file (ie the one with the house)
6./ Microsft 2008 should be there, put it in the bin and empty the bin
7./ Start Entourage again and try to open an attachment, it should
work!
