Can one import contacts from Office 2000 (XP) to 2003 (Vista)?

Is it possible to import contacts (.pst file) from Office 2000 (XP) to Office
2003 (Vista)? I don't seem to be able to and receive a message about Unicode.

Outlook 2003 will support both Unicode and the older ANSI PST file formats.
Instead of importing open the PST and copy the Contacts over.
