Can PowerPoint Viewer work on a linux operating system?

PowerPoint = Microsoft

Linux = Ummm, nothing...


Sorry but no, PowerPoint runs on WIndows and Apple OS X only.

Only under WINE or equivalent. Check into CrossOverOffice from CodeWeavers.

Of course you are spot on, I never thought about wine or the other
emulators. Does PowerPoint "play nice" with wine?

I think OpenOffice runs under Linux and it handles PowerPoint files pretty
well.
