Can themes be printed?

In a document I have chosen the expendition theme from the format menu in
Word 2003. This enhances the document for its purpose, but it wont print!

Can this be done or not?

No, I don't believe they can be printed. Themes are intended for web
formatting only, which is why, when applied, your document changes to Web
Layout View and the theme cannot be seen in Print Preview.

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Background colors
and images."

Excellent! Doesn't print all detail, but I think that's as close as we will
get.
