Can you download character maps for office 2003?

I have office XP 2003 and in powerpoint I want to insert the chess symbols
under the font (asian text) subset: miscellaneous dingbats. Howerver a user
in my office has the same thing (office xp 2003) and they do not have the
chess symbols under this heading. Can I download an expanded character map
for them that will include these symbols?

Hi Kchan,

The Insert=>Symbol dialog shows all of the available
characters in specific fonts based on their Unicode
values.

The (asian text) and (normal text) settings match
up to the 'normal style' font choices. (see the Styles
and Formatting Task Pane) and a style may not be using
the same font on 2 computers.

If you select a font by name, such as MS Mincho,
you should see the chess piece items in the Misc Dingbat
area of the font.
