Can you recall mails you didn't want to send?

We previously used Outlook, which had an option that allowed you to
recall a message you had sent, provided that the person on the other
end hadn't opened it yet. Is there anything like this in Entourage?
I've looked through most of their documentation without really finding
anything out.

No, sorry. They aren't particularly reliable anyway, since many mail
servers & clients don't process those requests. It's best when used with an
internal mail system rather than internet mail.

Even on an Exchange system, the recipient has the option of "allowing it to
be retracted" or not. I'm not sure if this is by design or if the Exchange
gurus are our company don't have the feature enabled. I can see that a
message has been "recalled" but I can still read it and it is only
"forgotten" if I say it is ok by responding to a dialog box.
