Yes it is. Depending on what you have in your computer you can connect
directly to a TV. Many notebook and desktop systems have a video output for
this purpose. Check your system for a couple of connectors. One is for
svideo wich would be preferred. The other would be a yellow composite video
connector. The system can use these connections the same as it would use the
VGA connector to an external monitor. If you provide some info on the system
you are using I can provide more details.
