Can you use a variable parameter with Hyperlink?

When you create a hyperlink in Frontpage, there is the
option to include parameters. Can you pass a 'field'
containing a variable rather than a constant?

In my case I want to select a value out of a drop-down
box and use that as the variable in the hyperlink. I'm
not sure if it can be done, and if so, how.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

That looks good, it is not exactly the same as what I had
in mind, but with a bit of tweaking it looks like it will
