Cancelling scheduled stuff

One of my IMAP folders is configured as "New messages only" in the account
schedule options dialog, but for some reason Entourage 2004 is trying to
download every message.

I can't remember the exact wording in the Progress window, but it mentioned
something about it being a scheduled event.

I pressed the Stop button in the Progress window once, but it just appears
to cancel this specific attempt to download the world, and some time later
Entourage just tries again.

Is there any way to stop Entourage from downloading everything?

The exact wording is:

Retrieving message bodies (scheduled)

Any suggestions?

Did you check all of your rules if any of them contains a command to
"Retrieve from Server" or if your account is set to download complete
messages from server?

I also have this problem. None of my current rules is set to retrieve
messages but Entourage 2004 (SP 1 installed -- build # 040913) keeps
downloading full messages from my IMAP server. My schedule is set to
sync headers only. _However_, in the past I set a rule to retrieve full
body of messages from my White Lists. Here's my settings:

1. Account Pref under "options":
1. (checked) Send commands to server simultaneously.
2. (unchecked) Always download complete messages bodies.
3. (unchecked) Partially receive messages...
4. Root folder is left empty.
5. (unchecked) Live Sync.
6. (checked) Check for unread messages in subscribed folders.

2. Schedule: is set to sync "headers only" from my IMAP mailbox.
3. Rules (sorted as I sorted them in my Rules box):

1. Junks: Mark messages that contains specific subjects as "junks"
and mark delete them. "Do no apply other rules is" checked.

2. Unconfirmed Junks: Marks messages that aren't from my address
book as "junks", but it doens't delete them. "Do no apply other rules"
is checked.

3. White lists: Marks messages from my address book as "not junks".
My white lists _used to_ contains a command to retrieve messages from
senders in my address book but I deleted this command since Entourage
started retrieving junk mails' bodies from server.

4. Other rules that move messages from particular senders to local
mailboxes.

I've tried to rebuild database to no success.
