Cannot create a new list under mail merge wizard

I have word 2002 under XP Windows and when I try to create a new lis
for labels under mail merge wizard it come up as " this operatio
cannot be completed because of dialog
or database engine failure". I have all the latest updates to OfficeXP
Please HElp

Generally, when you get this message, it means you need to update MDAC
(this is not an Office, but a Windows thing). Go to microsoft.com/data
for more information, and to download the newest version of MDAC
(Microsoft Office Data Components)
