I have the standard message stuck in my Outbox. When I try to open it, it
says it can't because it's already started stending it. When I try to delete
it, nothing happens. I had this problem in Outlook 2003, so I installed 2007
with no e-mail accounts hoping it would go away, but it's still there. I've
read many postings.
1. Work offline method .. there is no Work Offline option for me, so I
disconnected from the Internet -- still no success.
2. I tried all the steps at
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htm. When I create a
different profile and it shows up in personal folders, I still can't delete
it. I even downloaded the MDBVU32.exe utility, but when I choose the message
and then select select lpMDB->AbortSubmit() , it tells me it can't do it
either. (UGHHH!!)
Any other ideas about how to delete this thing? Otherwise, tell me how to
start over as if I never had any e-mail associated with Outlook so that
nothing appears there. (I was sort of trying to do that by removing all my
e-mail accounts).
