Cannot enter phnoe numbers into Contacts

Hi,
When entering phone numbers into Contacts (2003) I am forced into a loop of
being asked what my dialling code is which I cannot get out of.
How do I configure so that Outlook simply lets me type in the number in the
appropriate field?

You have to tell Outlook what area code you are in, etc. Just answer the
dialog box and it will not come back.
