Cannot find my Office 2000 cd's

I bought a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop, and Dell installed Office 2000 for
Small Business on the computer. I am trying to update my installation with
SP3, but I cannot find my cd's. I have a bunch of CD's that say Dell
installed software, but none of them are Office 2000 SB CD's. What do I do?
Are the needed files on the dell CD's? I am afraid of putting them in my
computer for fear that they will install a bunch of bloatware that I have
already deleted. Thanks.

I'd strongly suggest you call Dell Tech Support and ask them. They can
better tell you which files are on those disks.

Does Dell normally provide the Office software on MS CD's. or are they
normally located on "Dell Installed Software" CD's? I will call Dell, if I
have to, but I really don't want to wait on hold for an hour. Thanks.

That's why you need to call Dell. Policies have changed over the years. They
should be able to pull your system up by your serial number and tell you
what it came with, including software. I used to work for one of their major
competitors and I know that I could do that much - and I wasn't even Tech
support.

You could even try the Dell website.

Have you explored the Dell supplied disks? The program maybe there. Some recovery
disks will not specify the programs on the label. Do you have a product number?
