cannot open links

when someone sends me a link to a website, it does not
respond when I double click on it and internet explorer
would open and go to that site. I used to have Phoenix
browser but I deleted it because the links on my outlooks
emails always uses phoenix to open the link even if IE is
my default browser. please let me know how to restore the
link to open websites when I get links on my email,
thanks.

If you've got a pop-up blocker try disabling it to locate the source of the
problem. Note that the Google toolbar also holds a pop-up blocker.
