After installing Office 2003 on a new PC (XP Pro), many times (but
not always), the 'Paste,' 'Copy' and 'Delete' functions won't work. Clipped
text often doesn't appear in the Clipboard, or when Ctrl-V is used to Paste.
The problem occurs in Word and Access, but only rarely in Outlook.
The error message is: "The command or action 'Paste' isn't available
now. *You may be in a read-only database (not true - I've checked); *The
type of object the action applies to isn't currently selected or isn't in the
active view (I don't understand this); *Use only those commands and macro
actions that are currently available for this database."
How can I find out why my actions (presumably macros) are not "currently
available?"
Thanks,
