Cannot Read Messages

Hi,
can anyone help me. i am able to receive messages but i am not able to read messages in my entourage 2008. when i go to Message and Source i can find the content of the message. but it does;t appear in my inbox. i tried changing the characters but it didn't work.

How are you selecting the message if you can't see it?

i can see the sender, subject and date received it but when i open it i
cannot read the content of that message..... it is really weird.
