cannot reinstall office 2003, wont recognize my product key

My laptop crashed and I bought a new one preinstalled with the sudent/teacher
version. I am now trying to reactivate my Professional 2003 and I do have the
product key numbers behind my case but cannot reinstall it.

You need to uninstall the trial version and then install the pro version.
The product numbers will not work with other editions.
