cannot see autoshape

Hello all,

Using Publisher 2003.

After selecting and then drawing an autoshape (arrow, oval, etc.), it
disappears from the workspace. Even when setting the line and fill colors to
black -- the selection handles appear, but no shape. No other objects on the
page.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks!

If this isn't a solution for you; slide the acceleration down on your video
adapter, Control panel, Display folder, settings tab, advanced button,
troubleshoot tab. If this solves your issue you need to go to the manufacturer's
web site of your graphics card and upgrade your driver.

I experienced this same problem after installing Adobe Acrobat
Professional and couldn't figure out what was going on but changing the
acceleration did the trick.

the acceleration did the trick.

Changing the acceleration does not "do the trick", it is just a diagnostic
tool. Because it works, it means that you need a new video driver.
