Cannot see mail in outlook 2000 sent items folder

Hello,

I have a weird problem.
When I sent a mail, a few days after it desappears from
the Sent Items folder. I cannot see any mail I have sent
before.
But when clicking on the Sent Items icon the folder
appears empty and on the bottom of the left side I can see
that the folder contains 20 items.
Someone else with rights on my mailbox can see those sent
items.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.
