cannot send attachments

I'm using Outlook 2000 and I cannot Microsoft Office
attachments. I can send txt documents or other documents,
but not Microsoft Office documents. I can, however, send
the Microsoft Office documents via Outlook Express and Web
access, but not Outlook. Any suggestions? Thanks

No errors are shown when trying to send Microsoft Office documents as attachments. They are just not sent. The body of the email is received by the recipient, but not the attachment. Any suggestions would be much appreciated? Thanks
