Cannot send e-mail with attachment

The user can send an e-mail without an attachment.

However, once an attachment is included, no matter how
small, i.e. 10k; the 'send/receive' will sit there for an
indefinate time. There is no event log error.

Is the user on a broadband connection (e.g. DSL, Cable, .etc) and are they
behind a router that lets them share a single IP address? If the answer is
yes, then they would need to lower the MTU value on their workstation. If
not, might want to supply additional information about the connection type
to the internet because I have even seen hubs go bad and cause intermittent
problems like the one you describe.
