Cannot send email from Entourage

I have been using Entourage as my deault email platform for over one
year to receice and send all emails. Today I got an error message where
I can no longer send emails I gte tis folwoing message

Error: Mail could not be sent using the account "......"
Explanation: A connection failure has occurred.

Can some one please explain as to why this no longer works or better
yet is there is a solution

"Connection Failure" means exactly what it says, at some point along the
network, entourage could not connect to the server. This is usually doe to
local temporary network problems - maybe your ISP is suffering difficulties
and the mail server is down for maintenance?

If the connection is not restored in a few hours, start to look elsewhere
(have you been told of upcoming security enhancements, for example?), but if
there is a genuine problem (opposed to a local temporary issue) then the
error message usually gives more details, mentioning authentication,
blocking or something similar.

Thanks for that. Later on, after I posted this message I went to
"Accounts" and I was re-entering passwords and this allowed me to send
out some draft emails. However the problem has now returned today, and
I can no longer send emails again. The same error comes up" Mail could
not be retrieved at this time. A connection failure has occurred. Error
-3260 " I checked my web based email and this works fine and even
sends to my blackberry and vice versa. The issue appears to be
Entourage does not send...Like I said its been working fine for ages
until yesterday. Anymore thoughts appreciated
