Cannot send email

Rebekah Richardson

I can receive email but cannot send email. Report is that the Server is
down. But the server is sending email from another computer in the same
room.

Sending e-mail is done through the SMTP server (usually the SMTP server
of your ISP).
You shoudl double-check the settings of this Mac to make sure the SMTP
server is properly configured (advanced options maybe??). You can
compare to the other computer to really make sure they match, but there
is no reason why it wouldn't work,
