I have been using Outlook 2002 for over a year now with success until now - just recently I cannot seem to send emails with attachments anymore. If I go directly to my MSN account I have no problem sending but send with Outlook & my emails just disappear & never reach their destination.

Can anyone help please?

Maybe two different issues. I know that we routinely "block" certain file
formats that can cause virus problems. We only allow certain ones through
our firewall. Check to see if your Admin (or provider) blocks message based
on file format, size, or if they - or you - have virus software running that
blocks infected files.

Another possibility, if this is a corporate Exchange server you are sending
through, the size of your mailbox can be limited to a certain size. If you
exceed that size you can receive but not send. Again, talk to your admin.

I have tried sending various formats of attachments ie pdf's word docs, excel spreadsheets to test (from home by the way). One evening I succeeded but the next day I tried again & failed - so I know it is being temperamental! I have ran out of possible solutions.

Was it the same file(s) that you were re-sending? Same size and file
format? Do you have a size limit on your sending or receiving mailbox?
Does your ISP have a size limit that they will allow for attachments? I
think you should make a chart - record this information for each item, and
note success or failure. Also the date - and the total size of the sending
and receiving mailbox.
