I am having an issue sending outgoing mail using Outlook 2003 on a
Windows 2003 Server platform. Here is the relevant programs that
could be affecting things.
McAfee VirusScan 8.0i
Office 2003 with Outlook
Spybot Search and Destroy
The server is not part of a domain and will be used for development
purposes only. The problem is that I cannot send outgoing mail via
Outlook 2003. It acts like it cannot find the mail server. However,
I have another Windows 2003 server at a datacenter that I can use with
the same exact settings and receive and send mail all day long.
Why is my local Windows 2003 Server machine unable to send outgoing
mail? What do I need to do to configure it to work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
