Cannot sync Calendar and Contacts anymore

Hello folks,

I was wondering if anyone has seen this before. My Entourage lost ability to sync Contacts and Calendar folders. Restarting it, re-creating a new identity, forcing sync via Synchronize Now - nothing works. In the new identity, both folder sit empty, even though Progress window shows that they get updated and Folder Properties shows the right size under Storage tab. The only change in my system was installing the latest update to version 12.0.1, so I am not sure if that is related.

I'm guessing you're using sync services and sync'g through iCal to
possibly a handheld device?

Regardless, there are sync issues still in Entourage. The best thing
to do is sync only one module, in my case its Calendar as this is the
thing I change all the time whereas I rarely change contacts.

To get it going again, go into Entourage prefs, turn off sync. Back up
your main identity and iCal. Run iSync. Go into prefs and reset sync
history. Restore the iCal calendar from the backup. This resets sync
services. Delete the Entourage calendar in iCal (this will avoid
dups). Go to Entourage and in prefs in sync services enable (check)
Calendar and when the popup appears choose combine then OK. Entourage
will recreate an Entourage calendar in iCal and populate it with its
information (this takes a few seconds depending on the size of the
calendar. Sync should work both ways now. I would not turn on Contacts
as this will cause sync services to become unstable again. There's a
way around this but I won't get into now unless you need this info.

Thanks, Kerry. I was not very clear in my original post. I was referring to Entourage syncing with the Exchange account. The Contacts and Calendar eventually did sync, but for some reason there was an almost 24 hour delay in doing that.
