Cannot view email using Outlook 2000 Remotely

I'm using VPN over high speed cable internet service to
connect to my company's Exchange Server. However when I
open Outlook to check my messages, I can see new emails
received, but I cannot see the content on the preview
pane. It remains idle until this message pops up: "Unable
to Start Processing Services. Network problems are
preventing connection to Microsoft Exchange Server
Computer." After I acknowledge the message, I recieve an
Outlook.exe error message. The computer has been patched
for the blaster worm.

Any ideas? Thanks.
