Cant access my addresses in envelopes in office 2007

I upgraded from office 2003 to office 2007 and when I click on envelopes and
try to access the address book, it tells me I have to make outlook express my
default email or something like that. I don't want email addresses, I want
street addresses that I've entered for 4 years and now they are all gone.

And where did you enter these addresses? Word doesn't remember addresses
unless you a) saved them in a Word Document (or excel database or similar)
or b) used them from an Email Client addressbook.
