Can't connect to an exchange server

I am trying to setup an account in entourage x on mac os 10.3.4. Once i've
setup the account i receive a message which say :

Mail could not be retrieved at this time.
A connection failure has occurred.
Error -3260

I checked all the settings with my administrator, specially the ports and
everything looks fine (port 25 to send and port 110 to receive).

Does anyone know how to fix that problem ?

Port 110 is POP3. Does your Exchange server have POP3 turned on? Do
you have the account set up as a POP3 account?

Exchange servers are more traditionally accessed using WebDAV (which
is what creating a new Exchange account gives you) or IMAP (which runs
on port 143).

On Entourage X, an Exchange account by default will retrieve mail from port
143, since it gets mail using IMAP. WebDAV is used by default for accounts
set up in Entourage 2004 (which is port 80 normally if SSL isn't enabled).
