Can't connect to Exchange Server 2003

Hi all,

I can't seem to connect to my Exchange Server 2003 from Entourage
2004. I'm Running Mac OS X 10.3.4 and Office 2004. I have an AD domain
and am running Exchange 2003 on Small Business Server 2003. I know the
thing is set up correctly because i have been using Exchange on a box
with Win XP for over three months without connectivity issues.

I bound the Mac to the AD domain in Directory Access and can use OWA
thru Safari by typing the DNS name of the server as the address e.g.
http://servername/exchange. I can share files and otherwise access
services on the server but cannot get Entourage to recognise / connect
to the f*ing Exchange Sever.

I put in what I know to be correct values for the required fields and
it runs through the auto setup and correctly finds the name of the
Exchange server. if I click through, I get;




Verification Failed: "The connection to the server failed because the
network is unavailable. Make sure that your computer is connected to
the network and that your server is working correctly. If you need
help, contact your network administrator." (-3260 )

Some of your account settings are incorrect. Click the left arrow and
verify the items highlighted in red. To complete setup without
verifying your account settings, ..........



I go back and it's telling me that the Exchange Server isn't correct.
But it F*ing is. It's driving me nuts because I'm the administrator so
I can't very well contact myself for the settings.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Outlook uses MAPI and Entourage 2004 uses WebDAV. Having no problem with
Outlook doesn't mean everything will be fine for ENtourage unfortunately,

Weird... I've never had the opportunity to play with DA that much but I dont;
see why it fails in Entourage.

Did you try entering the IP address of the server instead of its name ?? Does
it work ??

I'm having the same problem as Matt. Tried the IP address...no dice. still
getting the error.

Did you make sure OWA is enabled on this server ?? Can you connect for
webmail on it ??
