can't create link to Exchange from Access

I'm trying to link data tables from Exchange 5.5 to Access 2002.

I try to run the wizard by File --> Get External Data --> Link Tables
--> Exchange. Almost immediately it abends the database and wants to
send Microsoft an error report (which I've looked at :).

As such, I have no idea what the problem is, save that it's
reproducable on other workstations on our LAN. I've tried it with
brand new databases as well as established ones, same thing.

I also read on one web site that it's possible to link to Exchange
via ADO, but the refering link for the driver was broken. Any ideas
if that is possible.
