Can't delete and backup Projects

I have tried to backup and delete Projekts, but at the end of the process I'm told "that I have stop the process before it ended" (sorry translated from Danish) - and nothing happens. What can I do??

Thanks for your help. The article shows exactly my problem, but the described solutions does not help me. I still can't delete my project:

Here is the feedback I received:
Some time after I wrote that post, I learned that the freezing issue occurs
without fail when the Project Center hits exactly 100 projects. It then gets
progressively worse as the number of projects rises above 100. At exactly 99
projects, there is no freeze at all. This was also confirmed by one of the
Microsoft specialists that sometimes visits this forum. She was able to
replicate the issue in both Entourage '04 and '08. I was told that her team
is now investigating the bug. For now, my workaround is to keep the number
of projects under 100.

If the user is having the freezing issue when mail is downloading, they
should delete projects until there are fewer than 100 projects in the
Project Center. If the user cannot get the projects to archive, there may be
a corrupted file somewhere in the errant project. If none of the files
appear to be corrupted, then the user might try removing files one by one
until the project will archive. If all the files are removed, then try
removing emails one by one. If it still won't archive, all I know to do is
create a duplicate project, move all the files, notes, emails, etc into the
duplicate, and then delete the bad one.

FWIW, the Entourage talk list has a broad base of long time Entourage users

Thanks again for your help.

I don't have the freezing problem. I have under 50 projects. Even a new opened project without mails or files can't be backup and deleted?

Create a new Identity in Entourage. Can you backup or delete in the new
Identity?

I have created a new Identity - opened a new Project - and tried to save and delete. Same problem?
