Can't delete e-mails - please help!

My entourage account has some sort of problem that is preventing me from
deleting certain e-mails. It is also duplicating a number of messages so
that I'll end up with three or four of the same message (at least one copy
of which I won't be able to delete). As a result of all this my inbox is
getting way out of control. When I access my account online, I don't have
these problems - it's just when I am on my normal account. Does anybody have
any experience with this?

You haven't told us what type of account or what version of Entourage,
so I'll deduce from your message that this is an IMAP account.

Right-click your Inbox and select the option to "Repair Message List".
