Can't email out - need "certificates"

D

David Sweet

I think a virus has affected my Outlook 2002.

When I email out, I receive an "Invalid Certificate" box.
The box reads "Microsoft Outlook could not sign or encript
this message because you have no certificates which can be
used to send from the e-mail
address '(e-mail address removed)'.

When I use Outlook's Tools/Options box to get a Digital
ID, it takes me out of Microsoft's webpage, saying that
there's nothing in Microsoft that can help me.

What's going on? Help!!!

Are you intending to digitally sign or encrypt messages? If not, go to
Tools -> Options -> Security and turn off those options.
