can't enter contacts in Outlook 2007

I have just loaded Office 2007. I can use email functionality, but not
contacts. It won't let me enter a new contact, import or export, etc.

What can I do?

What happens when you try? Any error messages? How are you trying to enter
new contacts? Using the New Contact option? Don't try using the Address
Book - it is only a view of the Contacts folder.

I am having the same problem. When trying to save a new contact I get the
following error message: "Could not complete the operation. One or more
parameter values are not valid."
