Can't Find "Old Database" after compacting

Entourage X v10.1.6

After years of compacting the database in Entourage X and deleting "Old
Database" and "Old Database Cache" in Main Identity suddenly I can't find
the Old Databases to delete.
The message after the compacting finished reminded me to delete the "Old"
files.
I can still find the Main Identity folder in the Microsoft Users Data folder
but no "Old" files are in it.
I tried the "Find" under the File menu to search for Old Database, no luck.
Is this anything to be concerned about?

The files have not moved. Perhaps you had an incomplete rebuild and there
are no ³old² files.

Well, I just performed another Compaction of the database.
Got the message that the "Old" files were created and could be trashed.
Went to look in the Main Identity folder, the only one I could find is in
Macintosh HD and there were no "Old" files in it.
I thought at one time there was a Main Identity folder in my user area.
If there was one, it's not there any more. That's not something I would
delete.

Create a new Identity and name it qquark. This way we can find out where the
Microsoft User Data folder is that Entourage is using.

1. Create a new Identity (under Entourage in the menu bar select, Switch
Identity. When the window opens select "New")

2. Name this Identity "qquark" (without the quotes)

3. In the Finder do a search for "qquark". Because this is an unusual name
you should only find one occurrence of it.

4. Now check in the search to see where the database named "qquark" is
located. This is where Entourage is finding your data.

5. Is it the same folder as the "Main" database?

Normally, Entourage looks in your User¹s Document folder, but some users
move the folder and use an alias or symlink in it¹s place.

I will do what you suggested but I wanted to first tell you that I found the
"Main Identity" folder in my user area by manually searching.
Using "Find" under the "File" menu only finds the "Main" folder in
"Macintosh HD" not the one in "Home".
But neither "Main" folder has the "Old" files in it.

This sounds like you have more than one Microsoft User Data folder. You
should only have one. That¹s why it¹s important to do the search as I
mentioned using qquark. I suspect you¹ll find your old files there when you
find the qquark folder..
