can't forward calendar event from calendar

I can¹t figure out how to forward a calendar event I initiated to additional
invitees from my calendar without resending it to the people previously
invited. I can add a name to the invitee list and then click on ³send
update,² but then the whole list gets spammed with a duplicate invitation.

If I¹ve received a calendar event from someone else, I can access the
original email from my inbox and then I have an option to forward it to
someone else, but this same option doesn¹t appear when I¹m the initiator and
need to access the event from my calendar (instead of my email inbox). I¹m
assuming there must be a way to do this, but I can¹t figure it out. Help!

Hi Barbara!

Based on the description of your problem I'm going to assume you're
using Entourage 2004.

Entourage 2008 improved in this area and you can now forward calendar
events as well as add new invitees without resending to everyone.
