Can't forward messages with HTML graphics

Re: Entourage 2004 on OS 10.3.9.

Although Microsoft personnel have told me I am supposed to be able to
forward HTML messages, I have never been able to. (And yes, my
preferences are set for Compose > HTML.) As soon as I hit "Forward"
and the new message window opens, the original message has been
converted to text.

Do I have a bug? Or do the Microsoft employees not know their own
product?

I'm using Entourage X, and, in 'Mail & Newsgroup Preferences...', I have to
enable 'Reply to messages in the format in which they were sent', otherwise
all replies are plain text.

'Complex HTML' (such as is found in newsletters etc) will be lost when
formatting. To avoid this you need to forward the message as an attachment.
This has been made easy, with a menu command, in entourage 2004. In earlier
versions, start a new message and drag to old message from the folder
listing to the attachments pane in your new message.
