On Tiger, we can¹t get am or pm to display in the monthly calendar view
which is really awkward for us as most of our events (being architects) are
about specific addresses. An event set for 9am at oxford street will simply
appear as; Œ9 oxford street¹. On our busy public calendars at first glance
this could be interpreted as an event at no.9 Oxford Street. Setting it for
9 Oxford Street at 9am would read Œ9 9 Oxford Street¹ with nothing to
separate time and event. Using 24 hour clock doesn¹t improve the situation
either.
I understand that the display of time is set by the international/formats
part of system preferences but I have tried every combination and it still
won¹t display am/pm. This isn¹t an issue on our Panther machines. Am I
missing something obvious?
