Whenever I insert the Office XP cd or try to run setup.exe
from the cd manually, I get the standard "preparing to
install message" but then nothing happens. The hard drive
continues to whirl for a few more seconds, but then
everything returns to normal and the computer seems to
have completely ignored what I just did. Any advice?
