Can't load desired normal.dot @ startup

I'm running 2 identical dell pentium 4's winxp pro office 2000, one at home
one at work. The one at work has a highly customised normal.dot (I hate
times new roman) lots of macros etc. Works fine. Copy it to my home pc,
identical location, check the locations of templates under
Tools/Options/File Locations (C:\Documents and Settings\MY NAME\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates). But instead a vanilla version of normal.dot loads
when i start Word. I'm obviously overlooking something real obvious but it's
got me stumped. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hmmm, it's definitely not "real obvious", but let's see if we can track it
down.

Is Word set as your Outlook Email editor? If it is, then Word may, indeed not
be loading Normal.dot as the default template.
