Can't open calendar, address contacts or notes by double clicking

Thank you Diane--When I downloaded Apple combo updater, my IMac (2.16 Ghz
Intel Core 2 Duo running MAC OSX v.10.4.9) said I didn't need the update. I
ran Repair Permissions without effect. It's very annoying not to be able to
double click, but it's obviously not the end of the world. Any other
suggestions will be welcomed. Jim

Even though it said you didn¹t need it, RUN IT. It will overwrite files that
could have become corrupted.
