Can't Open PPT 2003 File Attachment From Outlook - Really NEED HEL

I need help to solve this problem. I have no problem with my own PC but with
the other user. When user attach powerpoint 2003 file in Outlook 2003 insert
as Hyperlink, see sample below:
<file://\\servername\public\Training\CX_4.ppt>
File will open only as Powerpoint show not directly into the Outline/Slide.
I really need help to solve this problem. Every computer are running Office
2003 Professional with SP2.

How is this an Outlook issue? When you click the link, whatever application
is associated with the filetype becomes the inprocserver to which that file
or content gets delivered, and that isn't Outlook. This looks to be a
Powerpoint issue so ask in that group.

Maybe the particular user having difficulty has the Powerpoint Viewer
installed and that is what server app is associated with the filetype.

I have no problem with my own computer. We had the same setup with Exchange
2003 and Outlook 2003. I already check file association, they're the same.

Any more input? I really appreciated.

What happens when you don't use Outlook at all and instead click on the link
in IE to download the file (and open in Powerpoint)?
