Can't open Word attachments in Entourage emails

Hi. I just installed Entourage 2004 (new Mac user) and can't get Word
attachments to open in emails. Word tries to open them, but I get an
error message saying that either the file is already in use or that it
is not a valid Word document. I have no problem opening these
attachments when I access them through AOL instead of Entourage.

What should I try? Thanks.

Is the file completely downloaded?? Is there any button offerring you to
download the rest of the message??
