O.K.
I dont have a "print what" window either, there is no place for a handout
option, just a print and then print review.
I dont have a master in my view pull down.
I have not installed the SP for 2003, could that be the problem?

M

Michael Koerner

When you select print from the tool bar, you should receive a pop-up print
window with a number of options. Your not receiving this?

When you click on View what do you see?

Non installation of the SP could be the problem. Installing the patch will
eliminate a number of problems.

I do receive the pop up print window but there are no options for handouts.
The options on it are: "print to file" check box, preferences box, find
printer box; and then the page range section: all or pages (example, 5-12),
and number of copies.
There is no view in my printer pop up. The view tab on my computer has
nothing for a printer.
I will look for the office powerpoint 2003 sp download.

So, if you choose File/Print, there's nothing at the bottom of the print
dialog after the page range section and number of copies?

Here there's a drop down box that says "Slides" by default. If I click the
arrow to expand the drop down, I see Handouts as one of the options. That's
what you're looking for.

I wonder if you have an add-in installed that removes those choices?

Regarding this --
There is no view in my printer pop up. The view tab on my computer has
nothing for a printer.

You're looking for View/Master/Handout Master, not View/Print. There is no
View/Print. You can find Print Preview under File/Print Preview.

When you select print from the tool bar, you should receive a pop-up print
window with a number of options. Your not receiving this?

When you click on View what do you see?

Non installation of the SP could be the problem. Installing the patch will
eliminate a number of problems.

O.K.
I dont have a "print what" window either, there is no place for a handout
option, just a print and then print review.
I dont have a master in my view pull down.
I have not installed the SP for 2003, could that be the problem?

When you select print under the "Print What" window have you selected Handouts?
When you click on View, Master, is there an option for "Handout Master" Finally
have you installed the SP for 2003?

That will do it every time. I guess I should have read your initial post more
closely. You did in fact mention that it was the viewer you were using. Sorry
for trying to lead you down the garden path.
