Can't read Calendar Font

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: Exchange

I just upgraded to Office 2008 and all the appointments on my calendar are in this really tiny scripty font that I can't read. This occurs no matter what View I use. This also occurs in the "New Message" pop up window. I've tried changing the fonts in Preferences, but nothing has worked.

Please help!!!

Hi,

Can those who are experiencing calendar font problems respond to this
post? A temporary workaround would be to disable the curly font that's being
used as your calendar font, likely to be Curlz MT (please confirm by using
Apple's Font Book to compare this font with the one displayed on your
calendar). You can then disable the font in Font Book.

You should be able to locate this font in [partition
name]/Library/Preferences/Fonts/Microsoft/.

Thank you!!

I did try disabling Curlz MT, but that was not the font. My Font Book has not worked correctly since I upgraded to Tiger, it does not display all my system fonts. I do however have Linotype FontExplorer X (which is a free download), so I performed a "Clean System Fonts Folders" which cleans out any fonts not installed by the Mac OS X Installation (i.e. ones you install yourself) and puts them in a folder on your desktop to do with what you want. So that process worked and I will probably, slowly reinstall the other fonts back in until I can figure out which one is the culprit! Still not sure why Entourage chose to use this font and I hope this "bug" will be fixed, but this will work in the mean time.

Thank you again and I hope this might help someone else!
