Can't Rebuild Database in 10.1.4

Since upgrading to 10.1.4 of Office, I haven't been able to rebuild the
Entourage database. When I open the program while holding down the "option"
key, the program simply opens ... bypassing the rebuild dialog. This was
never a problem prior to upgrading. Any ideas?

Try Switch Identity, and click to open the same identity while holding down
option key. Any different? You have to keep holding option key until the
Rebuild window appears - don't let it up too quickly (same when trying it
the normal way).

If this really doesn't help, you must have a faulty installation. Use Remove
Office (from the Value pack on the CD - install it first). Then reinstall
Office v. X, Office 0.1.2 updater, Office 10.1.4 updater. But I'd be
surprised if this is necessary.

Thanks for the suggestions. I restarted my Mac and tried the rebuild after
restarting the system. Everything worked fine.

I should have thought of that before posting the problem. Anyway, thanks
again for the suggestions.
