Can't see distribution list members

I have users running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. They are connecting to an Exchange 5.5 server. A few of my 200 or so users are having problems with the address book. They can see distribution lists, and send e-mail to them, but if they right click the list and try to view properties, nothing shows up under Members. I need some of those users who are having issues to be able to see the Members and edit them if necessary. Any ideas?
